Milano 2009
48 nations united and enjoyed visits from Lewis Hamilton who took a pitstop on the way to the Monza Grand Prix to meet the players; Marco Materazzi popped down too and so did the FIFA World Cup Trophy. An important foundation was laid in Milan, Italy as the Homeless World Cup demonstrated football can unite and breakdown prejudices. Ukraine were crowned champions.
Melbourne 2008
56 nations united for the biggest Homeless World Cup ever, the first Women's Homeless World Cup with Zambia taking home the trophy, 50,000 fans visiting Federation Square for the Finals day, Afghanistan crowned champions, and a legacy of 30 street soccer programmes across Australia.
Copenhagen 2007

Cape Town 2006
Thank you Cape Town for your great spirit as hosts of the 4th Homeless World Cup. Lasting true friendships were made with 48 nations and support from President Mbeki, Eusebio, Kaizer Chiefs, Desmond Tutu and Lee Sharpe.
Edinburgh 2005
A year on 77% players involved with the Edinburgh 2005 Homeless World Cup had changed their lives for the better. Moving into training, jobs, homes, coming off drugs and alcohol, re-uniting with their families the changes were signficant and lasting.
