Norway v Zimbabwe

Norway (3) v Zimbabwe (5)

Chances at both ends, saves at both ends, and after two minutes of an evenly balanced opening two minutes, Zimbabwe's number 8 shot from half way for Zimbabwe to take the lead.

Still, the game was tight. Closed down on the edge of Norway's goal area, with no passing options and nowhere to go, ZImbabwe's number 4 turned and shot to make it 2-0.

But it was Zimbabwe's substitute number 5 that took the game away from Norway. Finding himself in acres of space, he shot in, and within seconds of the restart, scored again. Bang bang. Zimbabwe 4. Norway 0.

Could Norway pull the game back in the second half? For a while, it looked like they could. First Norway resisted Zimbabwe, keeping the door well closed at the back and hardly letting sight of goal.

Then, Norway opening their scoring with a great toe flick from number 4 Iversen. At the back, Norway couldn't keep Zimbabwe out for ever, letting one more in.

But twice more Norway scored, great spirit giving them the best of the second half to take the final score to 5 - 3, Zimbabwe holding onto their lead.
