Norway v Argentina
Norway (6) v Argentina (2)
These teams have been competing for the OMBOLD Trophy, and in this match the 5th and 6th place was to be found. The winner will after the tournament be rewarded with a ranking as the world's 37th best team (the loser 38th). Since this is the final day, and the last time the players will be on pitch before they return to their home country, the National Anthems were played and sung before kickoff. Norway had many players and substitutes and they really put some voice behind. Argentina were hard to hear, but they compensated for that by having the longest anthem heard around here...
Argentina began well, especially the keeper who made 4-5 great saves in the first minutes. Carlos gave them the lead. Then it seemed that they started thinking more about the Tango of Buenos Aires and the Mate of the Pampas. Norway scored 6.
Norway was better, more efficient with the ball. No. 3, Hansen, put in 4 goals. Normally the Norwegian national team are known for playing "no-nonsense" football, kicking away everything that comes near there box. In this game, however, they played wisely, along the ground and it paid off.
Argentina got a last-minute goal to lighten the memories from the last match - probably a good thing before the long journey home.
