Nigeria (4) v (4) Portugal ( Nigeria win on penalties)

Both very highly killed teams but Nigeria have lightning pace.
Nigeria kept Portugal to just a few chances and opened up a 2-0 lead....with the Nigerian keeper also making some lovely saves to protect their lead.

Portugal manage to pull a goal back but at half time it's 3-1 to Nigeria and things are good for the other men in green.

In the second half Portugal pull off an incredible comeback with super shots from distance and with just 3 minutes left they get the precious equalizer - what character!
Nigeria had a shot cruelly rebound off the bar with just ten seconds left.

here we go then - another penalty shootout.

Four pairs of penalties are needed until Portugal are denied by a narrow margin as the ball goes wide.
