Before the start of the game there was a nice, happy and friendly atmosphere between the two teams. The green and blue hugged each other, high-fived and chatted away. After only 20 seconds Nigeria scored. The green men (Nigeria) wore gloves during the game (!!!) but started sweating heavily shortly after the beginning of the game. First half was very quiet - Argentina seemed tired. Maybe they were because earlier today they won 18-0 over Switzerland (the highest score in the tournament sofar). Therefore Nigeria controlled the game. Four minutes into the game number five from Argentina had to leave the game with a bleeding mouth. Argentina's keeper gave himself 100 percent to the game and saved his team over and over again but it was never enough.
Second half started off with a scream from the crowd: "Come on, Argentina, you can do it!" and straight after Nigeria scored to 5-2. The green team played faster and faster and Argentina never managed to build up clean team-play. Nigeria on the other hand managed to build up a beautiful team-play, scored and scored! The match ended with the teams thanking the crowd for the support together. (Well done!)
