The scores were taken to 9-3 just before the whistle was blown when Juan Felix Buenrostro Segura scored a tremendous goal off the back of his foot into the corner of the net.
Felix, the main goal scorer for Mexico, shot their first goal in just under three minutes.
Greece were making good attempts at moving forward with their attack but Mexico continued to put in the hard defence which meant the scores were kept at a minimum and the keepers were constantly busy.
Greece scored their first goal making it a beautiful spectacle as it flew into the corner of the net.
The second half saw a super start for Mexico who seemed to return with a newfound determination to immediately dominate the pitch.
Greece pelted the goalkeeper with a barrage of wide shots but were having trouble finding the net.
The next few minutes of the second half was Mexico's time to shine, scoring four goals between the players only allowing room for two extra goals for Greece.
One of Mexico's goals was scored due to a penalty awarded for the Greek goalkeeper stepping out of his area.
The game was mainly controlled by Mexico, with occasional displays of brilliant footwork and technique by Greece.
Both teams were showing great spirit throughout the match with constant encouragement between the players of the opposing sides.
With this victory under their belt, Mexico will continue fighting for their place in the finals.
