Mexico raced to a 3 goal lead in this one sided affair. The socceroo's are poular with the crowds and there's a reason for that, they look just as happy if they lose as if they win. And that's great! It's rare that 'and' can be used at the beginning of a sentence but that's the feeling of optimistic possibility evoked by the Aussies.
Mexico did play the better football though and probably just about deserved their 7 goal margin. The Aussies need to work a bit on their defending, going forward they are great. However I very much doubt that will prevent them from having an ace time of it this week. I'm off for a waltz.
