Media Accreditation Agreement
When granted press accreditation for the Melbourne 2008 Homeless World Cup from 30 November – 7 December 2008 you note and agree to the following:
- Your media pass grants you permission to report at the Homeless World Cup in the designated areas, which are clearly outlined on your accreditation pass, Media Centre information board and sign posted at the tournament.
- You are provided with excellent access to a secure area directly around the pitch areas for all your photography, filming and reporting needs. You are not permitted to step on to the pitch surface or into the team dug outs at any time.
- You have a fantastic opportunity to meet with and share a life changing experience with players from at least 48 nations throughout the tournament and attend key events such as the match draw and welcoming ceremony. You are not permitted to enter the player accommodation or player lounge except during those times agreed with and/or published by the Melbourne 2008 Homeless World Cup Media Centre.
- Thank you for working in a professional manner with respect for the players who are often undertaking an emotional, life changing experience; with respect for the organisers of the Melbourne 2008 Homeless World Cup; and with the values behind the Homeless World Cup.
- Match and event photography is available to you free of charge, with credit to the photographer, and is available for download from the online press centre www.homelessworldcup.org/content/press or at the Media Centre.
- At previous tournaments photographers have generously donated some fantastic photography to the Homeless World Cup for the website and future marketing and promotion of the tournament. It would be fantastic if you would like to do this too, please speak to the Media Centre and sign a short permission release.
- Wireless internet access is available at the media centre for your use. There are several PC’s with internet access available for use at the media centre, and plenty of desk space for you to bring lap tops, which we recommend.
- We would very much appreciate it if you can provide the Homeless World Cup with copies of your published articles.
