Liberia v Kenya
Liberia (3) v Kenya (2)
This started as a cagey affair that Kenya could, and should, have wrapped up by the first interval. Instead they found themselves level at one apiece having dominated large parts of the first seven minutes. The normally nimble Liberians were lethargic, possibly from exertions in the earlier heat of the day, and a goal down. Their coach urged them to be swifter with their passes. Out of nowhere came the equaliser from Suahkollie Andrews. The team lifted and he delivered the goods again to put them in front.
Kenya were stunned, but gathered themselves to find a leveller only to concede immediately. Liberia were now resurgent and held on for a gutsy victory.Frank Prenesti
