Australia showed up on the pitch with the Danish keeper. The reason was standing on crouches outside the pitch cheering for his team. He was injured in yesterday's game so therefore the Danish stand-in. The crowd was very noisy, happy and cheering for Australia but it was Liberia who scored the first goal of the match. In first half of the game there were a lot of tackling and both teams seemed confused with a lot of misplaced balls. The very loud Australian bench cheered their team up with "Take a chance!" and "Don't be shy" which led to a more aggressive Australian team. At half time Liberia led the game with 2-0 though.

Liberia kept playing their safe and calm play extending their lead with 3-0. Two minutes into second half Australia's number 5 scored and for a very short while the crowd had a party. Liberia controlled hereafter the game totally and won after having scored clean goals with beautiful and calm team-play.
