The great number of supporters for "The Socceroos" had been waiting for this one and they gave it all they had from the very start of the game. Not that it in any way seemed to affect the Kyrgyzstanis - playing with two men and two women.
A penalty by no. 7 gave them the lead and they were up with 2-1 at half time.
The Aussie goalkeeper Henry, who dramatically had to leave the quarter final vs. Chile (see Match Report) is back for the second half. Standing ovations from the crowd welcome him.
It was not enough, though. Australia did come back to 3-3, but only to see Kyrgyzstan close the game with two good goals, the latter by no. 7 again. She had a very good game!
Kyrgyzstan proceeds to tomorrow's final for the INSP Trophy - they will be up against Slovenia.
