Italy v Ghana

Italy (4) v Ghana (5)

This is the last quarter final between the teams competing for the Copenhagen Trophy. The winner can look forward to meeting Hungary in the Semis. Since both teams are in white,  Ghana must change for the spare green shirts, since they are "the away team".

After one and a half minute Ghana puts pressure on the Italian defense and after three shots in a row, the ball finally ends up in the net. 0-1. They also make it 0-2 and win the half with 1-3.

The second half begins with a blue card for the Italian keeper for throwing the ball from a higher position than allowed. Usually, to receive a blue card is a very serious problem in these short games, but Italy prove this thesis completely wrong. A field player put on gloves and enter the red box, while the two remaining field players do fantastic in their defensive play, and even manage to score a goal. The 2 minutes end 1-0 for Italy!

Italian no. 8 score his second great goal and make it 3-3, before Ghana turn up the speed and the number of shots and quickly come back on 3-5. With thirty seconds left it is Ghana who is to receive a blue card for hands. Italy take advantage and no. 8 puts in a fourth goal for his personal hat-trick, but that's where it ends. Ghana wins 4-5.
