With both good play by Italy and Ghana this match was tight and exciting. None of the teams managed to make a substantial lead, and right from the start the game was going from one side to the other. Just as Ghana had some good chances in one end, Italy had another chance for a strike in the other. After several chances by Italy's number 4 blocked by the goal keeper from Ghana, Italy managed to get ahead 2 to 0 after playing five minutes. Also Ghana had great difficulties by passing the Italian keeper, as he showed reflexes as a cat keeping his goal clean, however Ghana managed to pass him once before half time.In second half both teams kept up their speed, and well-placed strikes. Ghana had still a hard time scoring, and when Italy got in front 6 to 3 the match seemed won, but the players from Ghana did not give in and with a team effort they struggled to get back in the game. With two quick goal they managed to do so, but with only one minute left and another goal by Italy, they did not go all the way.
