Ukraine had lost their last game against the home team of Denmark, but this had obviously not affected their confidence, as they started out against Hungary on Pitch 1. Good, fast breakthroughs, long-range low shots under the keeper and an impressively fighting defense made it for Ukraine. Never was the victory in danger.
The game ended with a 7-goal margin, 11-3.
