Competing for a spot in the semi-finals in the Copenhagen Trophy, Hungary and South Africa went head to head in pitch number two. Both teams with a fair amount of supporters cheering for them from the sides.Only 12 seconds into the game, the South African keeper stepped out of the penalty area, and the Hungarian number 4 did not blink when he executed the penalty. Both teams played patiently throughout the first half, competing for possession and passing the ball around for the best moment for striking. THe teams played well equally for the first few minutes, but after 4 minutes, the Hungarian number 5 scored two fast goals, made way for the narrow Hungarian halftime lead 5-4
Hungary came well back on the field, eager to increase their lead to a more comfortable gap. A well placed pass crossing the penalty area made space for a powerful strike, and the Hungarians increased their lead to 6-4. After a series of very good saves by the Hungarian keeper, the South African number 4 finally could made it to 6-6. In the last minute of the game, Hungary scored the last goal of the match, setting the final score 7-6.
