Just by the second touch of the game Hungary scored their first goal. This was a warning for the Slovakian goal keeper, who was up for a busy first match to day. But with one brilliant save after the other, the Slovakian keeper managed to keep Slovakia in the game for the first couple of minutes. However he was left with no chance, as the Hungarian players shown good team play with short passes and well-placed strikes. At half time Hungarian was in front 6 to 2.
