SHOWING why the words Brazil and football are synonymous, Brazil scored an easy victory over Hong Kong, winning 11-0 at Federation Square Stadium.

Before the starting whistle the Hong Kong team presented the Brazilians with a signed t-shirt, displaying the good will and spirit with which this competition is played.

Brazil took a quick lead, with Denis Rodrigues Strutz slipping s hot past the Hong Kong keeper.

Carlos Magno scored the second goal for Brazil, before Strutz added a third goal. The Brazilian attackers dominated possession, as they patiently passed the ball back and forth until finding an opening, with goals to Magno, Lucas De Sousa Teixeira and Strutz.

Hong Kong's keeper Siu Fung Cheung did an amazing job keeping the score down and Hong Kong just missed scoring off a penalty. At half-time the score was Brazil 6, Hong Kong 0.

Brazil lost none of its momentum during half-time and came back firing with a goal from Magno.

Hong Kong narrowly missed their first goal after a close attempt from Hon Por Yuen.

Hong Kong's keeper kept up his amazing form, putting his body on the line time and time again as Brazil fired shot after shot.

Magno scored his fourth goal and first goals for Roberto De Souza Silva and Eduardo Buglia Silva. Hong Kong gave all their energy in the final minutes of the game but a strong Brazilian defence and magnificent keeper kept them from scoring.
