Ghana (6) v (4) Italy

The host nation Italy opened the seventh edition of the Homeless World Cup playing against Ghana.

There was a big crowd in the Arena Civica in Milan, with all other teams interested in the first match of the competition.

A strong Ghana side started very well and they scored two goals in the 2nd and 3rd minute with number 6, Dennis Yaboeh that will be the man of the match.

Ghana dominated the match and scored again with an impressive goal by Amouzu.Italy suffered a lot in the first half and the Ghanaian had other possibilities to score more goals.

At the beginning of the second half Italy scored with Da Silva and from then we watched another type of match. The Azzurri scored again with Da Silva in the 2nd minute but Yaboeh scored the fourth for Ghana.

Italy netted the 3-4 with Dugas but Yaboeh was very impressive, fast and skillful and scored again for the 3-5.

Before the end Dugas scored another for Italy but Yaboeh again scored his fifth goal (the sixth for the ghanaians) with another impressive goal.

In the dying minutes Italy missed three goals in one minute and the match finished with the impression that Ghana will be a hard team to beat.
