Vytautas Skirmantas had no intentions of letting the game get away from the Lithuanians from early in the match, controlling the ball up and down the court with ease.
The French had several notable shots at goal, but Lithuanian goalkeeper Andrius Stamulis was able to block every attempt.
France was trying anything they could to get on the board, but was stopped time after time by the defense the Lithuanians constructed.
The French missed a vital penalty shot, leaving the score 3-0 at half-time.
France scored two fantastic goals to start the second half, but they were not able to unite as well as the Lithuanians.
Lithuania played a patient game, setting up skilled goals and allowing Rolandas Tvirbutas to really shine.
The Lithuanians finished the game off with style, setting up Tvirbutas with an excellent shot at goal which he completed to perfection right on the full-time whistle.
