IRELAND have stamped themselves as one of the teams to beat in the 2008 Homeless World Cup after another impressive win, this time against France, 11-2.
Ireland remained focused the entire game, with their tight defence work paying off to secure the first goal within 30 seconds of the start.
Shooting low at goal, the Irish team used strong footwork and effective passing techniques to bag their next goal only seconds later.
France eyed off their first goal and succeeded by sneaking the ball away from Ireland and netting one at just over a minute in.
Ireland's intense control and advanced skills saw them too strong for France in the first half, with the team managing to net another four goals before half time.
The second half saw Ireland's domination continue, as they quickly added another.
However, France rallied and for the next four minutes, there was strong defensive and attacking work from both sides, with no goals scored.
Ireland broke away at the 11-minute mark, scoring three goals in barely 50 seconds.
A split-second later, France seized their opportunity and got one back, taking the score to 10-2.
Ireland goaled again in the dying seconds, securing top place in group A, with France in pursuit in third position.
