Eugene, Ghana 2007
Eugene
Boye Lomotey became homeless and involved in drugs through
unemployment, but since his involvement with the Homeless World Cup his
life has changed considerably.
Eugene has demonstrated strong courage
becoming free from drugs and following his experience at the Copenhagen 2007 Homeless World Cup he
went on to find employment as a teacher. With his salary he is able to
rent a room and is no longer homeless.
Eugene plans to continue his education supported by his new job.
He feels extremely
grateful to the organisations who he feels made it possible: “I wish to
thank all the people who made a donation and supported the Ghana team.
I wish them every success, God bless you all.”
