The semifinal for the Trophy Cup was a classic in international football, Scotland vs England and there is a big rivalry between these teams.
Scotland took the lead thanks to a penalty by John but the english played very well and they soon recovered.
The first half was very tough and it finished 1-1.
In the second half, Scotland scored again thanks to a big mistake of Evans, the english goalkeeper. But the same goalie saved two big chances and he saved England.
Serge Mitanga then decided to enter in the game and he scored two terrific goals in succession.
After another english goal, Scotland recovered with a John's goal and John again missed before the end a clear opportunity.
England finally conquered the victory and the access to the final with not particularly ease.
