Denmark (6) - (8) Luxemburg

Clouds were gathering above the Arena Civica, as the two teams of similar physique and style went out on the pitch.

This was a game of equal rhythm and visible contrast in teams activity during the first and second half. The first half was dominated clearly by Luxemburg who opened the score with three spectacular goals, while Denmark managed to return one for the utmost content of the cheering Danish supporters. Luxemburg kept the rhythm marking another string of four goals and by the end of the first half Denmark only returned one more.

The whole game was an exhibition of skills for the goalkeepers who saved numerous on target shots. Their task was getting more difficult as the first raindrops start to fall in the middle of the second half.

Luxemburg recuperated the stride in the second half and managed to impose a very strong, goal intese game with magnificent goals and shortened the advantage to 6 -7. At this moment looked like strengths were equal, but the next goal was for Luxemburg and the final whistle sounded before Denmark could show more. A very intense match with many goals under the constant cheering of the Danish supporters.
