Czech Rep (4) v (4) Lithuania (Czech Rep win on penalties)
Although grey hair were started to show on the Lithuanian players, their age could not be spotted in their play. What they lacked in speed, they had in technique and team play, however they could not keep up with the Czechs in first half, as the Czech keeper had several brilliant savings and the Lithuania players stroked three times off the cross bar. By half time Lithuania was down 4 to 1 against Czech Rep.In second half Lithuania was much more efficient and also the keeper stepped up his game with brilliant savings, and Lithuania had a fantastic comeback. They managed to score three more goals and keeping their own goal clean, so pitch 1 yet again was having penalty shootout.
Lithuania missed their first penalty, and as Czech Rep. did score on their penalty, Czech Rep. won the game.
