In the second match of the Community Cup, Chile took a commanding victory over the Philippines, winning 11-2.
Setting a quick pace, Chile's Emmanuel Eduardo Angulo Martinez took the first goal, 20 seconds into the match. Carlos Amador Torres Garrido found a second goal for Chile and started a period of dominant Chilean ball possession.
Passing wide across their attacking half, the Chileans scored two more goals off the boots of Felipe Antonio Orellana and Martinez. A third goal was denied by the nimble hands and heroic diving of Philippine's keeper Marlon Lagundino, who's quick reflexes fought off many a Chilean attempt on goal.
After a frenzied Philippine attack, Jeffrey Solis fired a swift shot on goal that was only just stopped by Chilean keeper Fidel Amando Vargas. With 30 seconds to go, Jay R De Jesus sent a smooth shot past the Chilean keeper, bringing the half-time score to 4-1, Chile's way.
The Philippines came back fired up, with Solis placing an efficient, smart ball into the net and scoring the first goal of the half. Rondolf Longgakit almost pushed in a second goal for the Philippines with a barely too wide ball just missing the goal.
From then on fantastic Chilean passing set up goals for Cristian Arturo Ruiz Andrade, who took two, Martinez who also took two and Garrido who scored one. Despite the fresh, fast legs of Philippine sub Nina Versoza, the strong Chilean attack and brick wall defending lead to a final Chilean goal from Garrido. After a fast, well-played game, Chile claimed victory, 11-2.
