Chile (6) v (9) Russia
This was a very strange game. A lot of goals, lot of occasions to score, but not a very good football in general.
Russia are a well organized team, while Chile played a quite confused football especially in attack.
The east European team took the lead in the 1st minute but Chile soon equalized.
From then Russia edged out the Chileans for the rest of the first half and they scored other four goals.
In the second half the South Americans came back with two consecutive goals and for few seconds the score remained 4- 5 to Russia.
In the next three minutes, Russia imposed their power and they scored other four goals.
Before the referee whistled, Chile scored two goals again and fixed the final score on an impressive 9-6 to Russia.
Russia have great possibilities to go through now, but not all the hopes are lost for the Chileans.
