After the last great match the expectations were high for the danish team, however not nearly as many showed up for this match and the Danes were not playing their best. Only few seconds in to the game a danish player passed his own goal keeper, as their were a misunderstanding when he made a return for the keeper. Short after Cameroon netted another three goals and by half time Denmark was down with 4 to 0.
Denmark started second half with one more player on the field for nearly two minutes, as a Cameroon player were given the blue card and sin binned in the end of first half. But Denmark did not manage to take advantage of it, although they were struggling to score. Simply the Cameroons were just quicker and first on the ball in critical situations. However in the last couple of minutes the danish players had some good strikes and clear shots, but they were all blocked by the Cameroon keeper, playing his best.
