BRAZIL put on a display of awesome skill to beat Argentina 15-3 in one of the most anticipated matches on the tournament’s second day.
The game began in a fast and furious manner with players from both sides throwing their weight around.
Argentina had several chances to get on the scoreboard early, but it was the Brazilians who drew first blood with some great team play and an even better finish from Carlos Magno Santos.
With another two goals shortly after, the Brazilian striker had his hat-trick, making the score 3-0 before anybody had time to blink.
The Brazilian dominance continued as they patiently knocked the ball around until an Argentine defender was caught out of position, at which point, the ball would inevitably end up in the back of the net. It was 9-0 at half time.
Argentina fought harder in the second half and created a few chances through Sergio. They finally scored through Renato Iriarte and again thanks to a penalty.
However it wasn’t enough to quell the magnificent touch showcased by the Brazilians.
