SIERRA Leone has defeated Belgium 11-4 with an impressive display of skills.

Dominating the first minutes of play, Sierra Leone player Ahmed Juhea Barrie lined up two perfect goals. After taking control from the other end of the court, Barrie netted a third with ease, taking the team's lead to 3-0.

Belgium player Sven Houbrechts was quick on the chase and hunted down a goal, successfully putting his team on the board.

A good build-up from Sierra Leone's Barrie saw another powerful shot five minutes in. Belgium player Nourdine Benaissa gained possession of the ball and with a smooth, long shot, scored another.

Right on the half-time whistle, Sierra Leone's Mohamed Mansaray stuck one in the bottom corner, taking Sierra Leone’s lead to 5-2.

Sierra Leone continued their domination, scoring three goals in the early minutes of the second half, securing their lead.

There was concern when Sierra Leone's goalkeeper was hit quite hard on the head, but after a quick break he courageously returned to the pitch.

Belgium player Diana Mouwen scored the goal of the match when she unleashed a thunderbolt from the centre of the pitch.

No matter how many impressive scissor-kicks Nourdine attempted, it was obvious that Sierra Leone were too strong for Belgium, kicking another two goals and claiming the match.

Both sides are in Group F, with Sierra Leone eyeing a high-placed finish and Belgium sure to keep fighting to join them.
