Australia v Hong-Kong

Australia (3) v Hong-Kong (3)

Its raining and slippery but there's still a lot of movement, especially from Australia, up and down and from side to side. Honk Kong are keeping a tight defence though.

A goal each, and then a tantalising moment as the Hong Kong forward waits for the ball to slowly rebound out of the Australian penalty area, before slotting it home to take Hong Kong ahead 2 - 1.

Scores are level going into the second half, but Australia miss a penalty and Hong Kong score.

This is getting very slippery, and the players are trying their luck from long range. Some of these shots just aren't going close.

A lovely tackle from the Australian number 6, tracking back, keeps Australia in touch. And then Australia scores working the ball from a free kick, after a crashing tackle.

So its penalties, Australia scoring the first penalty without reply from Hong Kong. The Socceroos have won, and they're arm in arm with Hong Kong, dancing in a circle and singing Waltzing Matilda in the rain.
